HSBC Canada Sevens 50-50 presented by Grosvenor, in support of BC Rugby & Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon

Volunteer Sign-up

March 7th - 8th, 2020
Location: BC Place Stadium

Volunteers are invited to sign up to support the delivery of the HSBC Canada Sevens 50-50, presented by Grosvenor. Net proceeds will be equally shared between BC Rugby and Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon.

240 volunteers are needed to sell electronic tickets throughout the two-day World Rugby Sevens Series stop, taking place at BC Place on March 7 and 8. Volunteers will have free entry into the stadium and are welcomed to take in the action before or after their shift.

BC Rugby utilises raised funds to support the delivery of its many programs and events aimed at youth, including delivering Rookie Rugby into primary schools through to events like the Provincial Regional Championships. RMH BC & Yukon provides accommodation and a community of support to families who must travel to Vancouver for treatment of a seriously ill or injured child. The 74,000 square foot facility provides a home away from home for up to 2000 families each year.

[SHIFT INFORMATION]
Each shift will start with some training on using the electronic devices and preparing for selling the 50-50 tickets. You will be asked to promote and sell tickets around the stadium concourse, for no more than 4 hours per shift. Once your selling shift is complete, you will be provided with a meal voucher and are welcomed to stay and watch the remaining rugby scheduled. You will be able to take a seat in any ‘General Admission’ area.
